Having established a strong distribution channel servicing a number of parallel sales retail outlets throughout Australasia and providing products to specialty boutiques, independent chain stores, retail online traders, adult, lingerie and costume hire stores, Picone has excelled as a distributor for it's selected products.

Having successfully penetrated all capital cities and major regional centres throughout Australia, 2001 saw the launch of the sales and marketing thrust into New Zealand, which has mirrored the success of the Australian operation.

Picone's commitment to the Australian and New Zealand market was recognised when it was presented with the coveted "Best Lingerie" award at the "Australian Adult Industry Awards" for 5 of the past 8 years.

Picone has been an evolving story that today sees it positioned as the premier supplier of lingerie, hosiery, costume wear and fashion accessories to the Australian and New Zealand market. As it begins the 2010 year and sets its sights on its next 3 year plan, the company, under the guidance of it's Directors, has now positioned itself for further expansion of products and markets.

As CEO, Suzy brings with her a wealth of business experience in general management, sales and marketing as well as strong successes in international business relationships.
These strengths and an open management style have ensured Picone is a business with a reputation and success envied by many.

As company founder, Suzy has always maintained the primary focus that the business be accented towards sales and marketing with strong second level management in finance and operations. Her commitment to success, combined with her background in event management and strong organisational skills, have resulted in a successful business which goes to extraordinary lengths to fulfil its client's needs - a major factor in the success of Picone, both in Australia and New Zealand.

These skills and solid business acumen will drive the company through its growth and expansion during its next 3 year phase of market development and back office refinement and process automation.

 

Bernie Humphreys
General Manager

As General Manager of the Picone Group, Bernie brings to the company strong business acumen skills.

Since joining Picone Group and its Corporate Team, Bernie has been instrumental in charting and implementing new growth strategies whilst maintaining a strong business financial position from which the company has achieved its successes.

In his position as General Manager, Bernie also brings a level of sales management that has provided the skills for Picone to have a stronger, more assertive sales team with more diversity to gain more market share and most importantly, deeper sales penetration for the products that Picone represents.

 

Garry Humphreys
Director of Logistics & Finance

Garry, with his experience in business processes and technology, gained from 25 years in IT manufacturing, logistics and distribution, through to corporate management, venture capital financing, acquisitions and strategic planning brings to Picone a set of skills that compliment its strong Corporate Team.

Garry commenced his involvement with Picone in a consulting position in mid 2005 to review the technology requirements and conduct a technology and administrative review of the business. Following this review and the implementation of the new technology processes and systems, Garry joined the company in a permanent position as Director of Logistics & Finance.

Prior to joining Picone, Garry was CEO of his own company, an Australian IT corporation, whose revenues peaked at $30 million, prior to its successfully managed sale to a joint Australian and Japanese Telephony technology company.
